The student who was the subject of an accused assault case at Adisadel College that was highly publicized in a social media video was granted bail by the Cape Coast District Court and was due to show up for court on July 28, 2023.

In order to create a jury for the juvenile case, the court had trouble getting the required number of people together, which resulted in the choice to issue bail.

The case has been postponed until August 2, 2023 by the court, which is presided over by Eric Oheneba Antwi Boasiako. In the judge’s chambers, the case was called.
