Gospel artist Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, commonly known as KODA, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 45, leaving the Ghanaian music industry in shock.

According to people close to the musician, he passed away early on Sunday, April 21, after a brief illness.

KODA was a well-known personality in the Ghanaian gospel field, known for his passionate voice, amazing record production competencies, and artistic prowess.

When his most recent album, “Keteke,” was released in January 2021, it was met with both critical and commercial popularity.

KODA’s music, which included singles like “Nsempii,” “Nkwa Abodoo,” “Yapai,” and “Adorso,” spoke words of hope and faith to a wide audience.

He worked with well-known gospel musicians, including the late Danny Nettey, Ps. Joe Beechem, and Eugene Zuta, among others, as a songwriter and producer.
