For the first time in history, Manchester City has won the Champions League.
By defeating Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday, they won their first ever continental Triple Crown (Champions League, Premier League, and FA Cup), becoming the eighth European team to do so and just the second English team (the first being their neighbors Manchester United in 1998–99).
Three is the magic number for Manchester City this season.
They matched the achievement accomplished by Huddersfield Town, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United by winning the Premier League this season.
Guardiola is regarded as the best coach in the history of football because he has already led Barcelona to league title, domestic cup, and European triumph in 2009.
“I’m tired, calm, and satisfied. It’s so difficult to win,” Guardiola stated. “It was written in the stars. It belongs to us.” he added.
Since joining Manchester City before the 2016-17 season, Guardiola, has won five league championships, two FA Cups, four EFL Cups and this season’s Champions League. He also lifted three Bundesliga championship with Bayern Munich.
