Experiencing the best in life is an open heaven. In Luke 3, JESUS was baptized and immediately the heavens were opened and the HOLY SPIRIT descended and rested on Him. Luke 3:21-22 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that JESUS also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the HOLY GHOST descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. Just like the way He was on the day of Pentecost. Open heavens grant ease and prosperity.
The prophet Isaiah prayed that GOD should rend the heavens and come down, this means the heaven-on-earth experience will be established. Isaiah 64:1-2 Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before You! As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make Your name known to Your enemies and cause the nations to quake before You!
After the death of CHRIST, and when He said it is finished, the church and believers came under the open heavens with different experiences. In the book of Deuteronomy, an individual’s heaven became brass and the earth iron. The enemy through ignorance makes one lose their inheritance, their means of enjoyment, and great benefits. A shut heaven prevents one from achieving much in this life. Genesis 28:10-16 Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Harran. When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep. He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of GOD were ascending and descending on it. There above it stood the LORD, and He said: “I am the LORD, the GOD of your father Abraham and the GOD of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.”.
Every closed heaven must be opened: in the family, business, ministry, marriage, spirituality, relationship, education, health, finances, and career. Mark 7:34 He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”).
Once opened, enforce a sustained open heaven in every area of life. Let the LORD rend any brass heaven and break any iron earth in life. Psalm 144:5-8 Part your heavens, LORD, and come down; touch the mountains, so that they smoke. Send forth lightning and scatter the enemy; shoot Your arrows and rout them. Reach down Your hand from on high; deliver me and rescue me from the mighty waters, from the hands of foreigners whose mouths are full of lies, whose right hands are deceitful. AMEN!!!
