The Bible says in the last days the knowledge of the LORD shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. We are in a social media generation and so many people are not being fixed for GOD to raise them. We are flowing with every wind, every stream, and this will not create a certain quality of Christians that the church needs. Especially in the days to come because if you train yourself to be moved by winds whether it is good or bad you will be carried but if you train yourself to be stable then in the day when adversaries show up you have learned how to stay put so you are not caught in the euphoria. Romans 12:11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
2 Peter 2:7-8, and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard). There are two types of believers, the Abraham type and the Lot type. Abraham is righteous because he was given righteousness, he believed and righteousness was imputed to him, he received GOD’s righteousness. Lot is righteous but stands for the defeated believer and Abraham is also righteous but stands for the victorious believer that means that we are all righteous in the church, but some are Lots, and others are Abraham.
Righteousness from the old covenant is right living but when it came to the issue of Abraham he was called specifically by GOD, and GOD used him as a picture of the messianic righteousness that will come to the church. Romans 1:1-5, Paul, a servant of CHRIST JESUS, was called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of GOD the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of GOD in power by his resurrection from the dead: JESUS CHRIST our LORD. Through him, we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith for his name’s sake. That now to him that work not but believe on him that justified the ungodly he said faith, his faith counts for righteousness. GOD now puts his righteousness into your account. Lots had to work out his righteousness. Angels came to warn him about the judgment coming on the city, but he loved the sins of the city too much that he lingered, so he was willing to risk it all to die in the fire that was coming. This is how some people are today, you can give them all the oneness in the Spirit they will still slack, what should happen should happen. He saw these guys as angels, and he was not sure, still lingering whether he should leave or not, he loved the city too much above his GOD.
Hebrews 5:12-14, In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of GOD’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. The key to righteousness is when you have to be teachers but still need milk, anyone that uses milk is unskillful in the word. The lack of understanding of righteousness is the reason you are not maturing. The ability to understand righteousness is your key to maturity, it is the foundation of the truth and if you do not get this you are going to struggle in your journey to maturity. Christian righteousness is what produces right living, if you understand that you are the righteousness of GOD the revelation of the truth now begins to work in you revealing the right living. Romans 5:17 For if by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive GOD’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, JESUS CHRIST!, righteousness is a gift, reigned by JESUS CHRIST. It is an inheritance Hebrews 11:7, By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith, he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith. Noah was an heir of righteousness which is by faith. Abraham became righteous because he believed in GOD and not right living. Amen!!!
