A charge of abuse of authority and defamation of Somalia has been leveled against the head of the Somali Athletics Federation.

An amateur sprinter was permitted to compete in an international sporting event, prompting Somalia to reprimand a sports official for showing favoritism.

A consultation between the nation’s National Olympic Committee and the minister of sport resulted in Khadija Aden Dahir being removed from her position.

In addition, they discovered during their initial research that the Somali University Sports Association is a fictional organization.

The ministry declared that it would file a lawsuit against the president of the Athletics Federation of Somalia as well as anyone else involved in the “falsification” of the sports organization.

At the World University Games in China, Nasra Abubakar Ali finished the 100m in roughly twice as much time as the victor. The racer quickly disappears from view in a video of the event but returns to finish the competition with a cheerful jump

The inexperienced competitor finished the race in 21.81 seconds, with over 10 seconds later than the victor. She is “neither an athlete nor a runner,” according to a probe by the Somali Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The relationship between Ms. Dahir and Ms. Ali wasn’t really further explained.
